More of the same. Even though it's completely different it's just as confusing so it seems the same. There is too many formulas these days.

I mastered 4 or 5 objectives today. I am proud

Remember that one time when Mitchell said the lesson was to confuse us and then you said you were the only smart ass in this class? I enjoyed that part of my day.

I have nothing to say except holy stuff that was hard!

Today we did some stuff learning about other stuff that finally didn't confuse the stuff out of me. And then we did AM.

I decided not to write the optional test because I figured that with a mark like mine, the only way to improve it is to get 100% or really close to that and i didn't think that would happen so I went and mastered my 50th objective on AM.

An easy 100% on mental math then working on whatever we want while you corrected the tests. I was a little behind on cum. exercises but this class helped me out with that.

Work period. A quick 100% on MM and then finished up my cum. exercises. Law of cosine isn't too hard if the formulas are right in front of your face.

Laws of sines/cosines

Sines law is pretty easy and will get easier with practice but law of cosines, even after it gets easy, won't be easy. I tied my record for worst score in MM with a 60% 2 days in a row. AM is getting pushed aside with all this other stuff to do now but i'm not doing bad with 44 mastered objectives.

We just did a bunch of corrections on the test and i figured out that I GOT THE BONUS QUESTION RIGHT!...I should get a shirt.

I don't even know the date...

Mental Math was quick and tough today. I got my worst mark so far: a 60%. Then we went to test corrections which seemed quite strange because we hadn't got our tests back or even know what we got on our test. i don't see why we'd look at something that we might already know or ignore something that we have no idea about.

More stuff on trigg. I missed the lesson yesterday because i was so terribly ill but it's slowly coming back to me from last year and the lesson seemed hard and easy at the same time... I don't know how

THE VEGGIE MONSTER?!?!?!?! That's just dumb! I don't know what this world is coming to when we can't even have a monster named after a baked good. Oh right math... Ummmm we just did a few example of rationalizing binomial denominators which started out confusing but did help me out quite a bit. I have enough homework in all my classes so if I do do these joke sheets it will not be for a while.

Today

We found out how to solve equations, which sounds easy but is NOT. I can do it, most of the time that is, but I'm confused. I gotta keep practicing it I guess.

Late October

I'm confused. This is this quickest moving math class I've been in meaning that before we even understand the last lesson there is already a new lesson to not understand. I kind of get how to do this but I never see myself skipping all the steps like you said. There, I said "you". Happy?

October 20 something ish

Just a test review for tomorrow was all we did today. The test will be definately the hardest one yet so I'm counting on an easy bonus question. The last one was too difficult dor me.

We had 16 minutes of pure confusion today. I know blog reflections are supposed to help us, but that lesson was way too confusing for me. I have a 12 page assignment in accelerated math, just felt like saying.

Oct 15 Blog Post

Today was a catch up day. Half the class wasn't here so even though he planned to do a lesson, Mr. Maksymchuk gave us the free period. I was scribe so I spent quite a while on that then I worked on accelerated math.

October 13ish Blog Post

y - y1 = m(x - x1). There. I had to write that down because guarenteed it will be forgotten by everyone by tomorrow. Once I have the formula however the rest is not too hard.

October 9 Blog Post

Today we learned you need 2 points to ensure a straight line but 3 to be absolutely sure. It was a pretty easy lesson with a 20 question assignment to follow it up. Now that we have actual assignments on top of accelerated math I'm falling a little behind. Since Mr. Maksymchuk told us to blame someone, and the roofers are being quiet, I'll blame Mr. Maksymchuk himself for making me live in fear of invading Americans. Now I'm too busy preparing for invasion to do my work.

October 8 Blog Post

At the start of class we discussed accelerated math and some tips on how to do good with it. After that we did our lesson on slope which I thought would be confusing, but it wasn't. And finally, we learned how to print our own tests and exercises which will help me a lot.

October 7 Blog Post

Today we wrote our second test and it was fairly easy. I think I got an easy 90% on that test. We worked on accelerated math after the test and I mastered my 26th objective. I am ahead of everyone in the class by quite a bit in accelerated math.

Today we didn't have a lesson, we just had a quick test review into studying/finishing unfinished work/accelerated math for the rest of the class. It's good that we have these classes every once in a while because usually we move so quickly through the lesson that this helps everyone learn and catch up.

Easily the most confusing lesson yet would be todays on midpoint. We didn't even time to get to the "slope" section of our lesson. I haven't been able to do accelerated math for a while now with all my other school work.

Today we did a quick and easy mental math then moved on to free time to work on whatever we needed to. We got our longest assignment yet but thankfully it isn't due for tomorow, not that that helps me with my busy weekend coming up. I guess I'll have to do it all tonight.

Blog Post Sept 30

Today we had a lesson on A squared + B squared = C squared. We've done that a million times so it wasn't to interesting but the unit should be easy now.

September 25 Blog Post

Today we had a lesson and re-learned how to factor difference of squares. I could do them before but we learned how to do them the long way which will be neccessary for when they get more confusing. Then we got assigned lesson 10 and I'm starting to wonder what happened to lesson 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8. I don't have any accelerated math right now and I think it's because I'm too far ahead.

September 23 Blog Post

We had a test in math class today and while I wasn't looking forward to it, I knew it would be pretty easy. I won't be surprised if i get over 90%. If I don't, I blame the roofers for ruining my concentration. I'm accelerating in accelerated math with 17 mastered objectives.

September 22 Blog Post

Math class isn't at the confusing point yet, but it's getting there. With the introduction of polynomial long division and our first test tomorrow it is getting a little tough. Today's class was good though, it made me feel ready and confident about tomorrow's test. The only thing I'm having any trouble with is accelersated math. It's not the work, that's easy it's just understanding if there's a difference between practices and excercises other than automatic printing and other simple things like that.
